Speaker

Rachel Lackner is a conservation scientist based in New York. She was previously an Andrew W. Mellon Conservation Fellow in the Department of Scientific Research at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where her research focused on the identification of organic dyes and pigments and the development of advanced mass spectrometry techniques. Prior to working at The Met, Rachel received her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.
