Lowell W. Robinson

Mr. Robinson is a highly regarded executive with thirty years of senior global strategic, financial, M&A, operational, turnaround and governance experience at both Fortune 100 consumer products, retail and diversified financial services (Kraft and Citigroup), and high growth companies in technology, software services, biopharma and media/digital (Advo, PRT Group, HotJobs/YAHOO! and Aratana Therapeutics).

Mr. Robinson is currently on the board of PhenixFin (formerly Medley Capital), and has been on over eight public boards including Barnes and Noble Education, Jones Apparel Group, the Starboard Spac and International Wire Group. He held senior financial positions with CITIGROUP (1986-1993) as CFO for The Travelers Life and Health Insurance businesses ($5 billion revenues and 12,000 people), CFO for Citigroup’s Global Insurance Division, and Controller/CFO for all global consumer and retail businesses including retail banking and credit cards ($6 billion in revenues with 70 businesses in 42 countries and 25,000 people); Mars Inc. (1983-1986); and Kraft/General Foods.

Previously, he was on the nonprofit boards of The Council for Economic Education (2015 – 2019), The Metropolitan Opera Guild Board (2013-2016), the Smithsonian Libraries Board (2012-2017) and the Board of Directors of the University of Wisconsin School of Business (2006-2010) where he ran their Director’s Summit and is currently on the Advisory Board for their Department of Economics.

He earned an MBA in Finance from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from The University of Wisconsin.
