Summary
Maintenance of proteostasis, an interconnected network of cellular processes that govern protein synthesis, folding, and degradation, is critical for cellular health. Imbalances in proteostasis are closely associated with aging and prevalent human neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.
